Few djs possess the tools and talent to reach dance music stardom. With her innovative mixing style, production skills, and such a stunning look and sound, Dj Miss Lisa is the epitome of global dance music culture. She got her start 10 years ago, spinning hip hop, disco and old school at the renowned “Belly Up Tavern” in Solana Beach, California. She eventually started playing electronic music. Now Miss Lisa amazes her fans with her mega-mixing and party-rocking abilities. She plays house, electro, hip hop. Her versatility makes Miss Lisa a huge hit at every venue she performs in.

Miss Lisa currently lives in San Diego, California, but is rarely at home due to her ever expanding tour schedule. Miss has been voted San Diego’s “House DJ of the Year”, she has been in the top 100 dj’s out of 40,000 on the djlist.com, and she was listed as one of the top 100 female djs in the world on shejay.com in 2006.

It’s not surprising that Miss Lisa has become a staple on the west coast club circuit. She has toured all over the North America, including Hawaii and Canada. Miss Lisa has performed throughout the world: China, Mexico, Korea, Guatemala, South Africa, El Salvador, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Ibiza, Austria, Guam, Cancun, Serbia, Thailand, Greece, and Singapore. Miss Lisa has also toured with the famed “Hot Import Nights” for five years.

Miss Lisa’s productions have been gaining a great deal of notoriety. Her first production, “Crawling,” was an illicit remix of the hard hitting Linkin Park smash. Her remix/replay of the Violent Femmes’ classic, “Blister in the Sun” was released on Exodus Recordings and was licensed  to Topaz Records for a compilation album entitled “Back to the 80’s”. Miss Lisa’s mash-up featuring Notorius B.I.G. “Hypnotize” vs. Sublime’s “Santeria” earned props from major artists including DJ AM. Some of her other work includes her 2007 “Bring the Dirty” which a bangin’ electro/ progressive house mix, “Decks and the City” which sold out completely in 2005, “Driving Beats,” a 2 cd compliation mixed by Miss Lisa, Mea, Diamond, and Tatiana on Moonshine/ Kinskysweet Recordings, “For Your Ears Only,” a solo compilation, “Magnetism,” released on Topaz Records, “Causin’ a Commotion,” released on UC/SHR, and her first cd entitled, “Love”. Miss Lisa’s newest cd compilation, “Girl On Top,” a dirty / vocal electro house blend, is now available at www.djmisslisa.com.

Miss Lisa has been appeared in FHM Mexico and in a five page spread in FHM Philippines. She was featured in Playboy Mexico, and has graced three magazine covers, including Pro Sound in August 2005. She has also been in three calendars, with the most recent being Miss October in Sexy Corvettes, and has several trading cards available from the infamous Benchwarmer series.

Miss Lisa has also been featured on national Music Choice cable station and XM Satelllite Radio. She was also seen on E! Entertainment’s “Wet & Wild Summer Special,” Mtv’s “My Super Sweet Sixteen,” Spike TV’s “The Club,” and Fox’s “Planet X”.  You may have also seen Miss Lisa as the face for Blauplunkt’s new DVD released last year.

During the week, Miss Lisa saves lives, not on a dance floor, but in an ER trauma center as a registered nurse. When she began her career many years ago, little did people know she would come to embody the definition of a true ROCKSTAR: sexy, intelligent and impeccable musical taste.

Miss Lisa is currently touring the continent and is continuing her venture into international dance cultures.
