DJ Slynkee is a rare find…a true natural talent with unmatched skill. A definite prodigy, Slynkee is no newcomer to the DJ scene. He is one of the most versatile on the planet.  Having performed in over 40 states across the U.S. and in over 40 countries throughout the world, Slynkee has always satisfied even the harshest critics.  His overwhelming knowledge of music, his incredible work ethic, and his amazing turntable abilities, have always set him apart from other DJs.

Beginning as a local house party DJ in Queens, Slynkee went on to play at several college radio stations in Manhattan and Long Island. As his career progressed, he became well known on the club scene. Slynkee got deep into the music industry after partnering with DJ Skribble and landing his first U.S. tour.  This two man show was one of the first four turntable sets to be performed in a nightclub. In no time, Slynkee became one of the most requested DJs.

Some of the places you may have seen Slynkee are on ABC, BET, and the VH1 Fashion Awards. His numerous MTV appearances include the “Too Large Millennium Countdown”, “Mtv Jams”, “Do What?”, “Wanna be a VJ 3?”, “Dj Day on Hip Hop WeeK”,  and the “Mtv Movie Awards”. Slynkee has been on Hot 97 FM, Power 105.1 FM, Party 105 FM, as well as many other radio stations. 

After traveling the world with "Jam On The Groove", the Off Broadway musical hit, Slynkee toured with K-7 and then Rahzel from "The Roots".  Slynkee has also toured alongside artists such as Blondie, Rage Against The Machine, Naughty by Nature, Cypress Hill, A Tribe Called Quest, Run DMC, Wu-Tang Clan, and the Beastie Boys. He has also been on the same bill with artists such as Blink 182, The Cure, No Doubt, Jay-Z, Camp Freddy, Sugar Ray, Smashmouth, Lit, and Everclear to name a few.

DJ Slynkee, also an accomplished drummer, exudes energy that is infectious. This was evident at the 2008 Bacardi B-Live show, which was streamed live on Myspace.  He was recently featured with Dj Skribble on the “Schools In Session Tour,” which is a unique mashup show where drums meet turntables.

To this day, Slynkee continues to spin around the world. He has performed at high profile celebrity parties for HBO's “Sopranos”, MTV's “Laguna Beach”, VH1's “Flavor of Love”, “The Surreal Life,” and the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. Slynkee has also performed at movie premiere after parties for “Jackass 2,” “Employee of the Month,” “Blades of Glory,” and more.

Slynkee is currently a featured dj on Sirius Satellite Radio’s, Area XM. A big part of his popularity based on his adaptability and wide selection of genres. As one of the strongest “Open Format” djs, Slynkee rocks anything from mashup to electro house… and everything in between!
